Looks like we have our first major storm of the season and its headed towards the Gulf of Mexico. Crews all over the country are already being called to be held on standby preparing for the damage that may inflict FL, AL, & MS. Tropical Storm Issac is predicted to become a hurricane Tuesday Morning.
We, here at Grays Power Supply, are monitoring the storm round the clock, as well as preparing our departure. We plan on leaving out for Daytona Beach, FL. tommorrow.

Looks like we got more bad weather rolling into the New England area this evening. We will be making our way there in preparation to help out in case they need us.
The storm on June 29, 2012 was part of a massive straight line wind storm that traveled close to 700 miles in 10 hours, affecting 10 states and leaving around 4.3 million people without power. Officials are saying this storm was similar to a hurricane without warning, producing winds greater than 75mph.
Our crews are working between Dublin and Pulaski, VA and Princeton and Bluefield, WV. Storm work is predicted to last until this weekend. We are working with Appalachian Power, a unit of American Electric Power Co. Additional storms coming thru Sunday after the Derecho storm caused more outages to the Wytheville and Woodlawn Virginia areas. As of last night, 261,732 customers out of 573,000 have been restored in APCOs service territory. 192,387 remain out in West Virginia, and 118,881 in Virginia. Storm in West Virginia, 4 million out of power. Meeting at office 5am in the morning to prepare to leave out.
Job ended in Williston. We are currently in cruise mode awaiting the next storm, and searching out the next contract.
